Acne is those unseemly little and
at times large dots that seem to erupt on our face just
before the big day, whether it be a big party or the
date you had been waiting for so long. There are various
ways to treat acne, and one very popular way to prevent
acne to a certain level is acne wash. These specially
formulated acne washes help in keeping the skin oil free
and reduce irritation.
Acne
can cause lots of pain and depression, and if nothing
else they are of course annoying and really irritating.
However perfect your dress might be, however hard you
might have tried to get the right look a single zit can
ruin the whole effect. Acne can affect anyone, right
from teens to people in their mid twenties to their late
thirties. Acne is of various types and varying levels of
severity. Let us first understand what exactly causes
acne.
Acne
is caused by three major factors:
1)
Hormonal Imbalance – Sometimes there is a hormonal
imbalance within the body and when this happen the
production of natural oils increase, leading to
acne.
2)
Toxic Buildup - Toxins get deposited within the body due
to many reasons and under normal situations, these
toxins should be eliminated. But in some cases, the body
is unable to do so, and so there is a high level of
toxins.
3)
Often the sebum gland begins to react to the hormonal
imbalance and the excess sebum mixes with the toxins in
the lymph and the blood and promotes the growth of
bacteria.
As
we said earlier acne washes can help prevent acne. But
there are a few things that you need to keep in mind
while getting an acne wash.
1.
Make
sure the wash that you are using is oil free and
non-comedogenic which means it does not aggravate acne.
Also keep in mind that you do not want to irritate your
skin further so be very gentle with your skin. Acne
washes also tend to make skin dry and can lead to
irritation so make sure that the acne wash you are
getting is “non-over drying” and is possible
“non-irritating” as well.
2.
Wash
your face twice. Excessive washing can make your skin
dry and lead to irritation.
3.
Wash
your face with your hands, a wash cloth can irritate an
acne prone skin. Don not scrub as that too can lead to
irritation.
4.
Pat
dry your skin with a soft towel, rubbing can irritate
your skin as well. Basically treat your skin with utmost
care and gentleness.
5.
Once
your skin is completely dry you can use the medication
that you have chosen.
But
you have to keep in mind that acne washes or
conventional methods can not treat acne completely. As
you already can understand acne washes only deal with
the excess sebum on the surface level but that is not
the true cause of acne. The only way to completely cure
acne is adopting the holistic way. It eliminates the
root causes of acne from within and leads to an acne
free clear skin.
1) Hormonal Imbalance – Sometimes there is a hormonal imbalance within the body and when this happen the production of natural oils increase, leading to acne.
2) Toxic Buildup - Toxins get deposited within the body due to many reasons and under normal situations, these toxins should be eliminated. But in some cases, the body is unable to do so, and so there is a high level of toxins.
